Free Articles

Providing free articles provides me with the opportunity to do two things: (1) continue to hone my writing skills, an on-going process, and (2) offer informative pieces to authors looking for content for their e-zines and web zines. Having had a serioius heart attack this fall, I feel I can provide information about how to recover from an attack, lower your blood pleasure, and undertake healthy eating habits. Categories currently include heart attacks, lowering high blood pressure, and engaging in healthy eating habits. There is so much information to be had on these topics they will be constantly be a intriging source. Other articles include writing, and a piece on saving the environment. It's my goal to soon add articles on legal issues and the art of collecting antiques. I'm looking to constantly expand article categories in an effort to inform and assist authors in their writing endeavors.

Writer's Disaster Plan by Kathryn Schleich
After an EF 3 tornado slammed into Hugo, Minnesota over Memorial Day weekend, I started asking myself some serious questions. Hugo is 18 miles north (as the crow flies) of Woodbury, MN where my husband and I call home. That’s the closest I’ve ever been to a tornado and certainly to the kind of devastation visited upon the suburb of St. Paul, and it was a wake-up call. The main question I pondered was this: As a writer (and homeowner, for that matter) did I have in place a plan to protect my writings in the event of a disaster? Click here for entire article
